Lead Foreman

Construction & Site Development | Charlotte, NC Area

Turner Staffing Group is partnered with a construction and site development company seeking a Lead Foreman to join their team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing crews, and ensuring projects run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Oversee day-to-day operations on the jobsite, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.

+ Ensure all necessary tools and equipment are available for daily tasks.

+ Manage and train new laborers and Heavy Equipment Operators (HEO).

+ Work closely with the Superintendent to ensure adequate manpower for each task.

+ Coordinate with the Superintendent to ensure materials are available as needed.

+ Resolve conflicts and troubleshoot problems, escalating to the Superintendent when necessary.

+ Assign tasks to laborers and HEOs, ensuring workflow efficiency.

+ Clearly communicate the daily plan to the labor force, keeping the team aligned with project goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

+ Proven experience as a Foreman or similar leadership role in construction or site development.

+ Strong knowledge of construction practices, equipment, and safety protocols.

+ Ability to train and manage teams effectively.

+ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle jobsite challenges.

+ Excellent communication and coordination skills.
