Description
Nick Pignato with Robert Half is actively searching for an HR Generalist in the Manufacturing industry, located in ROCHESTER, New York. The HR Generalist will join our team to handle a variety of personnel related administrative tasks and provide clerical support to the HR department and employees regarding human resources related activities, policies, processes, and procedures.
Key responsibilities:
• Process and manage employee data using ADP and other HR related systems
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies
• Handle employee relations and resolve any issues that may arise
• Administer employee health and welfare plans, and work with benefit providers to facilitate services
• Utilize ATS to facilitate and manage hiring processes
• Contribute to the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
• Provide counseling on policies and procedures
• Actively engage in employee retention strategies
• Promote and participate in the organization's performance management and quality improvement processes
• Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational chart.
Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a HR Generalist role within the manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now.
• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode.
• Experience with Ceridian and Dayforce software platforms.
• In-depth knowledge of Benefit Functions.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrable experience in ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures.
• Proven ability in managing Employee Relations.
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act).
