Dietary Aide- Food & Nutrition-Per Diem-Mount Sinai Queens

Prepare and serve patient food trays. Handles food production and preparing for special functions. Handles dishwashing and sanitation

Qualifications

**Education:** High School or GED

**Experience:** Food handling experience preferred

Responsibilities

+ Portions out and plates food truck and serves

+ Heats patient food, transport food truck and serves meals to patients

+ Prepares sandwiches for cafeteria and special functions

+ Registers customer orders & transacts with money, Accountable for over/under of register

+ Wipes down tables, chairs, tray line, counters, shelves

+ Prepares salad for the salad bar, wraps cakes and pastries

+ Sets up the counter for breakfast and lunch. Serves breakfast and lunch

+ Serve and replenish hot and cold food in cafeteria

+ Assist in the preparation of special functions

+ Sets up and washes all pots, pans, empties garbage cans

+ Keeps the floor and sinks clean, empties garbage cans

+ Rotates, label, dates and puts deliveries away

Compensation Statement

Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $23.1868 - $25.2341 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
