    Job Description

    Valley Medical Group is seeking a Licensed, Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Pulmonary Physician to join its Pulmonology practice in Wayne, NJ and participate in both outpatient and inpatient care areas.

     

    The practice operates out of two sites in Wayne, NJ. The schedule consists of a combination of outpatient practice in our Wayne location, inpatient pulmonary consultations, and consultations in SNF setting. Duties include pulmonary office consultations, telemedicine visits, PFT interpretation, inpatient pulmonary consultations, and procedures. Procedural expertise in thoracentesis, pigtail catheters, and bronchoscopies is required. Sleep Medicine certification/eligibility is a plus. The ideal candidate will be someone who is hard working, flexible, a team player with excellent communication, critical thinking, analytical, and relationship building skills who enjoys a dynamic, community-based hospital and office setting. This is a great opportunity for a physician to gain valuable work experience while enjoying the support of colleagues in a well-established and respected practice, which has been around for more than 20 years.

     

    Candidates must have an MD or DO degree and be board-certified/board-eligible in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. A valid New Jersey state license, DEA, and CDS is a must.
