Overview Certified Home Health Aide Good Shepherd Hospice Inpatient Unit-Port Jefferson 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM Good Shepherd Hospice Home Health Aide works under the supervision of the appropriate professional staff, is responsible for providing personal care that assists the patient/caregiver in the achievement of optimal physical and emotional comfort at the Good Shepherd Hospice Inpatient Center in Port Jefferson, NY. The ideal candidate will have a prior Home Health Aide experience and will demonstrate basic understanding and commitment to the hospice concept of care for the terminally ill. Job Details Certified Home Health Aides provide activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, personal hygiene and more. Our HHAs work closely with the RN and LPNs on site in providing care and support to our patients and family members. Qualifications: Valid New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) Certificate required NYS Driver's License with car in working order Salary Range USD $19.00 - USD $19.50 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job, and it does not include the value of benefits.
