Job Description

**AECOM** is seeking a **Project Manager** to be based in **Oakland, CA** .

RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Responsible for the overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies.

+ Provides management and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface.

+ Oversees and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors.

+ Responsible for administering the project from budgeting/schedule stage through procurement and contract closeout. Position has significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned project.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

+ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or other Engineering discipline + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

+ Professional Engineer license and ability to obtain California PE within twelve months if not currently registered in California.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

+ Ability to proactively communicate and lead department staff.

+ 12+ years of experience which reflects a progressively increasing level of leadership and responsibility.

+ Experience with business development and client relations.

+ Project management experience leading small to medium-sized highway projects; well-versed in all aspects of project development.

+ Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $137,505.00 - $254,385.00.
