CHMC –Adult MHU-Graduate Nurse– Full Time- Mid Shift– 10a-10:30p- Requisition 8334

Pay Range-$37.72*+

A Graduate Nurse in the Mental Health Department provides comprehensive emotional and physical care to adult and geriatric patients in an inpatient setting with a strong interdisciplinary team approach in the provision of services. Delivering specialized, compassionate patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in a mental health setting. Effectively communicates with patients and pother patient care team members to facilitate optimal patient outcomes, while maintaining standards of professional nursing. Establishes priorities for nursing action according to patient’s needs and formulates appropriate care. Performs continuous assessments and revises care plans based upon patient’s condition.

Qualifications: Associates Degree in Nursing. Submittal of application for Licensure and Limited Permit. Paid required fees. Valid New York State RN License within one year of receiving limited permit. BLS certification
