    Nutrition Services Technician- The Cleaner

     

    Status: Full-time, 40 hours weekly.

     

    Schedule: Monday to Sunday. Variable weekends required.

     

    Day Shift: 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

     

    Starting at $16.00 per hour.

    Job Summary

    Performs routine cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment and production areas.

    Essential Functions

    + R esponsible to maintain a rotating cleaning schedule for coolers, hood vents, ovens and other areas of the kitchen.

    + Preforms routine sweeping, moping, and washing of kitchen flooring.

    + Stocks handwashing stations.

    + Safe use of cleaning chemicals in a food environment.

    + Communicates with other staff members to ensure continuity and coordination of services.

    Qualifications

    Required

    + High School Diploma or equivalent

    + 2 years of relevant experience Food service or equivalent experience

    + CRT-ServSafe Allergen - NRA National Restaurant Association 90 Days required

    + CRT-ServSafe Handler - NRA National Restaurant Association 90 Days required Or

    + CRT-ServSafe Manager - NRA National Restaurant Association 90 Days required

     

    Preferred

     

    + Vocational/Technical courses in food preparation

    + A course of sixteen weeks to one year in baking education and cake decorating techniques
