KHQA in Quincy IL. is seeking motivated and enthusiastic college students to join our newsroom team as a News Intern. This is a great opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in the broadcast industry. Interns will gain hands-on experience working alongside professional journalists in a dynamic and fast-paced newsroom environment. **This is an unpaid internship.**

Requirements:

+ Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university

+ Pursuing a degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field (preferred)

+ Must be eligible to receive college credit for the internship (credit verification forms will be provided)

+ Strong interest in the broadcast news industry

+ Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team

+ Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn

+ Interns are expected to work between 10 to 20 hours per week, depending on their academic schedule.
