Siena College invites applications for the full-time position of Office Operations Manager for the Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP). This role manages and organizes all technical and administrative aspects of the HEOP office. Daily administrative duties in the office include, being first point of contact for all students, faculty and administrators visiting the office, answer phones/transfer calls, secure space on camps for special events, manage catering orders, do requisitions to request purchase order numbers in order to pay department bills, prepare check requests including stipends to submit, sort and distribute mail, assist with all admissions processes and other administrative tasks. In addition, this role helps with coordination and planning of all administrative tasks for our summer program along with delegating various office tasks to college work study students.
Salary: $17.24/hour - 35 hours per week - This position is strictly an in-office role and does not offer the option for remote work.
The hiring salaries above represent the College's good faith estimate at the time of posting in compliance with the Albany County Salary Transparency Law.
Job Requirements:
High School degree or equivalent and previous office experience required; Associates preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required. Experience working with diverse student population is desirable. Typing accuracy and the ability to work independently, answer phones in a friendly and courteous manner. Use discretion and independent judgement with interdepartmental communications.
A background screening will be required.
