    Holy Family Hospital is offering a Sign-on Bonus of up to $1,000 for the Evenings and Weekend Patient Access Coordinator position.

    Our two campuses in Methuen and Haverhill have a total of 320 beds, and we are a full-service, acute care hospital offering comprehensive inpatient medical/surgical units, outpatient care, and 24/7 emergency services. We have three behavioral health units: cardiac telemetry, and critical care service lines. Our Haverhill campus offers all private rooms, and our Methuen campus offers a new state-of-the-art catheterization suite and Joint Center of Excellence, named as a Blue Cross Blue Shield Blue Distinction+ Center for Knee and Hip Replacement.

    Position Summary:

    Summary:

    Arranges for the efficient and orderly admission of inpatients and registration of individuals who have hospital-based outpatient testing or procedures.

    Responsibilities:

    + Ensures that patient information is collected and that patients are aware of hospital policies and procedures.

    + Interviews incoming patients or representatives and enters information required for admission into the computer database.

    + Distributes appropriate information to ancillary departments.

    + Participates in performance improvement and CQI activities.

    + Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with individuals at all levels.

    + Excellent customer service skills are required.

    + Treats patients/families professionally, with respect and dignity

    + Demonstrates the ability to be flexible, organized and function under stressful situations.

    + Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    + Education: High School graduate or equivalent.

    + Experience: Previous experience with medical terminology

     

    Salary Range: $17.27 to $25.67
