    Job Summary and Qualifications

     

    The Senior Financial Analyst supports the Hospital Based Physicians (HBP) service line within HCA’s Physician Services Group(PSG). Responsibilities involve ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of analyses relating to the financial statements and operations as well as other duties as assigned by the HBP Controller.

    Primary activities of this role:

    + Create and maintain weekly operations projections

    + Coordinate with HBP operations leadership for product-line and divisional monthly presentations

    + Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of tools that will be used in the revenue and collection processes for variance analysis

    + Become familiar with PSG revenue cycle policies

    + Prepare pro forma reports for new locations or markets

    + Prepare annual projection and budget process

    + Ad hoc report development in platforms such as Microstrategy/Essbase/Business Objects

    + Provide support to practice accounting related to standard billing systems & reconciliation

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field as required

    + CPA designation is preferred, but not required

    + Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial or accounting position
