Position Summary:
The Clean Room Assembler is responsible for assembling and testing company product. This position may specialize in particular products or processes and will be primarily in a clean room environment. Additionally, this position follows all work area related processes and procedures to assemble units utilizing hand tools, small power equipment, and other special equipment/fixtures. This position will require testing and utilization of microscopes and strong dexterity. Finally, this position is required to complete physical inventory and data entry accurately and timely, and practice good housekeeping.
Responsibilities
+ Assembles wide range of products, using drawings, work instructions, and tests to performance specifications.
+ Completes required documentation.
+ Inspecting items for assembly using microscope
+ Utilizes the inventory management System-Kanban, cycle counting, physical inventory.
+ Performs material handling, receiving, and stocking of materials and sales coordination.
+ Maintain clean room integrity by using proper attire and adhering to cleanroom environment practice and procedures.
+ Adheres to product quality standards, and standard operating procedures,
+ Maintains work area, tools and/or equipment, and machines.
+ Prepare and handle chemicals for use in the cleanroom
+ Set up and operate various equipment
+ Provide support and feedback to team leads and engineering team.
+ Train and develop other Clean Room Assemblers as needed
+ Adheres to safety, and health requirements; wears prescribed PPE.
+ Maintains focus on continuous improvement by applying 80/20, PLS, and principles/techniques and makes process improvement recommendations to management.
Qualifications
**Education:** High School Diploma (or GED) required.
Experience/Skills:
+ Minimum One (1) year manufacturing experience required
+ Minimum One (1) year clean room experience required
+ Must meet/exceed performance and department expectations
+ Ability to work on a team and independently
+ Ability to inspect and manipulate small and delicate items using a variety of tools
+ Good manufacturing operations knowledge and practices.
+ Computer experience with Microsoft Office products knowledge required
+ High level of accuracy and attention to detail
+ Good Problem solving, Multi-tasking and Teamwork skills
