Responsibilities

+ What You'll Do:

+ The Spouse instructor position is a part-time 30 hour per week role that is primarily remote with some in office as required or as customer demands. Candidates should have prior experience as a SCO/DAO spouse in a US Embassy abroad and understand the challenges and benefits of living in an such a complex, foreign environment. Will provide teaching, training, and administrative support to these students as they learn how to adapt and thrive while living abroad.

+ SCO Spouse Course Faculty should be able to develop curriculum and provide execution and admin support (with DSCU assistance) and instruction.

+ Must be able to obtain a Secret Security clearance.

+ Key Responsibilities:

+ Teach blocks of instructions in resident and online.

+ Create, modify, and update course curriculum.

+ Assist with management of course LMS system.

+ Communicate with students and perform additional administrative tasks associated with schoolhouse requirements.

+ Answer students’ questions.

Qualifications

+ Minimum Qualifications:

+ Education:

+ A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (or higher degree), or 3 years direct related experience in lieu of degree.

+ Experience:

+ Candidates should have prior experience as a SCO spouse in a US Embassy abroad and understand the challenges and benefits of living in an such a complex, foreign environment.

+ Other Requirements:

+ Ability to obtain and maintain an US Secret Security Clearance.

+ U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data system.

+ The successful candidate’s starting pay will be based on, but not limited to, their job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.

+ The following hourly range is intended to display the value of the company’s base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company.

+ USD $55.00/hr - $65.00/hr

+ Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States.
