Project Manager / Scrum Master Job Description

Role Summary

The Project Manager or Scrum Master is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects within set deadlines and budgets. They ensure cross-functional teams work efficiently, adhering to Agile or traditional project management methodologies, and achieve the project-s objectives. Area will be Digital, Data and Cloud

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning and Management

+ Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

+ Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.

+ Monitor and adjust project plans to address risks and issues.

1. Team Coordination and Leadership

+ Facilitate effective collaboration among cross-functional team members.

+ Act as a servant leader to empower and unblock the team.

+ Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

1. Stakeholder Communication

+ Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders.

+ Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and dependencies.

+ Manage stakeholder expectations and foster positive relationships.

1. Scrum Master Specific Responsibilities _(if applicable)_

+ Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives).

+ Ensure the team adheres to Agile principles and practices.

+ Shield the team from external distractions and remove impediments to progress.

1. Performance Monitoring and Reporting

+ Track project performance using appropriate tools and metrics.

+ Generate reports to provide insights into progress, risks, and team productivity.

+ Ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle.

1. Risk and Issue Management

+ Identify, assess, and mitigate risks proactively.

+ Escalate critical issues to stakeholders with actionable solutions.

Qualifications

+ Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications such as CSM, PSM).

+ Proven experience as a Project Manager or Scrum Master in an Agile environment.

+ Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project).

Skills

+ Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

+ Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.

+ Expertise in Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall methodologies.
