    Our client, _a leader in the manufacturing / packaging industry_ , is seeking a **Packaging Maintenance Mechanic** to join their team. As a Packaging Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the Packaging Line Team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to teamwork which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Packaging Maintenance Mechanic

    **Location:** Belle Mead, NJ

    **Pay Range:** $36.00 - $46.00 per hour + Amazing Benefits

    Job Function:

    + Provide multi-craft support including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic maintenance for packaging lines.

    + Coordinate with the Maintenance Team Resource Manager to lead maintenance repairs on assigned lines.

    + Monitor equipment uptime and maintenance response time, initiating improvement plans as necessary.

    + Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing activities on production lines.

    + Determine root causes of equipment failures and implement effective solutions.

    Required Qualifications:

    + Experience in maintenance or a related technical field.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and perform physical tasks.

    + Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.

    + Excellent communication skills to foster positive employee partnerships.

    + Willingness to work flexible hours, including potential overtime and weekend shifts.
