    We are looking for a talented professional to create complex electronic designs for the Life safety Fire business within Honeywell Building Automation using ECAD software.

     

    Be part of a team that is defining Honeywell's products. You will leverage your CAD experience and skills to transform initial rough product designs into working documents, and modify existing designs to improve the product. By applying established standards, guidelines and specifications, you will ensure the quality of the engineering drawings and models, and participate in the design review process.

     

    The annual base salary range for this position is $80,900 - $100,950. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + PCB CAD Design & Modeling

    + Design for manufacturing

    + Engineering collaboration

    + Update Drawings and Specifications

    + Standards Application

    YOU MUST HAVE

    + High school diploma

    + 2-5 years of experience in Electronics Design and PCB layout

    + Knowledge in RF, digital, analog & power circuit layout using Cadence & or Mentor Graphics

    + Ability to read, operate schematic capture, layout referencing IPC Specs. and ANSI Y14.5

    + Ability to read and understand component datasheets, assembly drawings and BOM’s

    + Basic understanding of PCB manufacturing and assembly process IAW IPC specifications

    WE VALUE

    + Experience in use of design and simulation tools such as Mentor Graphics & Cadence

    + Experience in component engineering part selection

    + Interest and skill to collaborate with engineering functional teams

    + Associates and or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering

    + Basic regulatory knowledge of, UL, ULC, FM, FCC, EN, NFPA standards

    + Microsoft suite of tools, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio etc.
