    Job Description

    Manage the key database, key audits and the overall key process. Serve as the front desk receptionist, providing and coordinating varied administrative, technical, and clerical support to visitors and staff. Assist the business operations of Facilities Management including procurement related duties and serve as the primary back-up for the Maintenance Support Center.

    Demonstrated knowledge of standard office procedures and filing skills. Strong public relations and customer service skills.

     

    Demonstrated effective organizational and time management skills. Effective oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to complete work assignments in a timely fashion while multi-tasking.

     

    Demonstrated ability to work independently and to interpret, follow and administer established University/Commonwealth policies and procedures, and use sound judgment to make appropriate decisions.

    Considerable experience maintaining and manipulating a large amount of data in Excel with some experience generating reports from the data.

     

    Considerable experience in providing excellent customer service.

     

    Considerable clerical or related experience.

     

    Basic experience with PC-based software such as Microsoft Word, Power Point, Outlook and considerable experience with Microsoft Excel.

     

    Basic experience in procurement, bookkeeping and/or accounting

     

    Additional Considerations (supplemental knowledge, skills, abilities, education, experience, licensure, certification)

     

    Some experience making travel arrangements and handling payroll transactions in a large and dynamic operations environment.

     

    Some experience working with a CMMS program.

     

    Some procurement related experience in a higher education environment.

     

    Some experience with Banner and/or eVA.

     

    Conditions of Employment

     

    Facilities Management employees are considered essential personnel and subject to working during university closings.
