    Job Description:

    The Labor and Delivery Surgical Technologist II is a member of the surgical team who works with surgeons, anesthesiologist, registered nurses, and other personnel to deliver quality patient care before, during and after surgery as well as assumes other appropriate unit responsibilities.

    Job Requirements:

    Fulfills the educational requirements for completion of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited program and holds and maintains CST certification; or otherwise qualified per the NYS Public Health Law (i.e., candidate provides evidence that he/she worked as a surgical technologist in a healthcare facility for a cumulative period of one year, occuring within the four years immediately prior to the effective date of January 1, 2015; candidate provides evidence of completing a military surgical technology program).
