We are seeking a talented, highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering Team. The ideal candidate will focus on improving and maintaining our existing product range and manufacturing processes. This role involves analysing designs, improve quality and validating alternative materials and processes to ensure product quality and reliability.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Provide high-quality product support to resolve complex technical issues with existing products.

+ Analyse, improve designs and drive changes or modifications to improve product performance and reliability.

+ Manufacturing Support: Collaborate with manufacturing teams to enhance production processes and resolve issues.

+ Document test results, write and revise assembly procedures, work instructions, and technical reports.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain and improve products.

+ Address customer related product complaints, perform root cause analysis, and propose remediation.

+ Develop and implement product customizations by closely collaborating with field application engineers and marketing teams to meet customer-specific requirements and market demands.

+ Ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices and regulatory requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

+ Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.

+ Proven experience in in a similar role, preferably in the medical, automative or manufacturing industry.

+ Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCad), and knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, injection molding, and 3D printing.

+ Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles.

+ Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

+ Experience with statistical analysis and process improvement methodologies

+ Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

+ Experience with design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for manufacturability (DFM)

+ Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards (e.g., ISO/EN, ATEX, NAMCO).

+ Experience in a specific industry such as industrial, automotive, or medical.
