    Summary

    The Channel Sales Manager (CSM) will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies through a network of channel partners, such as distributors, resellers, and retailers, by building and maintaining strong relationships with them to achieve sales targets and maximize market penetration. By working directly with channel partners and sales personnel to increase sales and market share through management, training, motivation and expertise. Candidate needs to have technical capabilities when describing and demonstrating equipment in field applications. Must be able to work synergistically with others in sales management to ensure the sales channel is operating at its best levels of activity and expertise; requiring excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills to drive revenue growth across various distribution channels.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Channel Partner Development:

     

    Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners, while actively managing existing relationships to ensure their alignment with company goals.

     

    + Sales Strategy Development:

     

    Collaborate with the General Manager and sales team to create and implement channel sales strategies, including market analysis, territory planning, and sales incentive programs to maximize channel performance.

     

    + Partner Enablement:

     

    Provide comprehensive training and support to channel partners on product knowledge, sales processes, marketing materials, and customer service standards to enhance their selling capabilities.

     

    + Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

     

    Track channel partner sales performance against targets, identify areas for improvement, and provide regular reports to key stakeholders.

     

    + Marketing Collaboration:

     

    Collaborate with the marketing team to develop co-branded marketing campaigns and materials tailored to specific channel partners, driving brand awareness and lead generation.

     

    + Conflict Resolution:

     

    Address any channel partner concerns or disputes promptly and effectively to maintain positive relationships.

     

    + Other:

     

    Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate on any level with internal personnel and external stakeholders, as well as strong negotiation skills and motivation. Ability to give presentations in various size group and settings.

    Experience/Education

    + 5 years sales management experience in a service-focused industry, and 3 years of Channel sales management experience

    + Experience with managing by influencing a diverse group of roles and responsibilities.

    + Bachelor’s degree in Business or an Industrial Field is preferred, or equivalent work experience in a related sales field.

    Total Rewards

     

    The compensation range for this position is $86,000.00 - $129,000.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
