Salary: $84,000 - $120,000 + potential bonuses (Recruiting and Incentive Programs)
Are you an experienced aviation professional with a passion for leadership and operational excellence? **PDS Tech Commercial** is looking for a dedicated **Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor** to oversee critical maintenance operations in **Kansas City, MO** . What You’ll Do:
+ Supervise **aircraft maintenance operations** , ensuring all tasks meet FAA regulations, manufacturer guidelines, and customer expectations.
+ Lead and mentor a team of maintenance professionals, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
+ Oversee **preventive maintenance, inspections, and alterations** , ensuring airworthiness and compliance.
+ Coordinate with **Engineering, Quality Control, and other departments** to optimize workflow and meet deadlines.
+ Ensure proper planning and execution of maintenance tasks using customer package requirements.
+ Manage labor hours, maintenance schedules, and resource allocation to ensure **on-time aircraft delivery** .
+ Maintain clear communication with internal teams and customers regarding aircraft status and project progress.
+ Uphold **safety and regulatory compliance** , ensuring all work areas remain clean and audit-ready.
+ Train and develop team members, identifying future leaders within the organization.
What You Bring:
Required Qualifications:
+ **Airframe or Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification** .
+ **Minimum 5 years** of commercial MRO maintenance experience.
+ **At least 2 years** of leadership experience in an MRO environment.
+ Strong understanding of **FAA regulatory requirements** , including FAR Part 121 and 91.
+ Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
+ Proficiency in **Microsoft Office Suite** ; experience with Oracle, AutoTime, and Gateway is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Proven ability to **train, mentor, and develop** maintenance personnel.
+ Experience managing multiple projects and meeting operational deadlines.
+ Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
