    This is a contingent position based upon contract award

     

    KBR is seeking a highly motivated and career-oriented Fire Protection Engineer to join our team supporting a government client in Maryland. In this role you will be part of the acquisition management team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Provide operations and maintenance support and project/renovation support

    + Design and document a range of wet and dry fire services systems.

    + Read and interpret Fire Engineering Briefs/Reports.

    + Thorough knowledge of relevant standards.

    Qualifications

    Required:

    + Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with willingness to sit for a poly upon request

    + Minimum 5 years of experience within the IC or DoD

    + Must be a US Citizen

    + B.S. in Fire Protection Engineering from ABET accredited program

    + Registered PE in Fire Protection

    + Knowledge and experience of the project lifecycle.

    + Knowledge of engineering design processes for infrastructure projects.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    + Ability to work closely with senior and junior engineers

    Desired:

    Basic Compensation:

    $103,600 - $155,300

     

    The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

    Additional Compensation:

    KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
