    Description

    We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant to join our team based in Bellevue, Washington. In this role, you'll be tasked with full cycle accounting duties, including handling both accounts payable and receivable transactions, and maintaining project ledgers.

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensuring accuracy in the processing and maintenance of accounts payable and receivable transactions.

    • Overseeing the full cycle of accounting for assigned projects, including the management of project ledgers.

    • Preparing and reviewing various project reports and communicating the results to project teams, departments, and management.

    • Understanding and reviewing financial statements, as well as owner contracts and subcontracts.

    • Identifying and communicating any variances in the budget and potential areas of financial risk.

    • Understanding the flow of transactions through general ledger accounts and daily cash reconciliations.

    • Performing ad-hoc reporting duties as required by project teams, departments, and management.

    • Undertaking various accounting duties, including bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close procedures.

    • Utilizing accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to facilitate job functions.

     

    The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $75,000 + up to 10% bonus.

    Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

    • Experience with Bank Reconciliations

    • Ability to manage General Ledger

    • Skilled in creating Journal Entries

    • Experience with Month End Close procedures

    • Knowledge of NetSuite software

    • Proficiency in Oracle

    • Familiarity with QuickBooks

    • Experience with SAP software

    • Ability to handle Full Cycle Accounting

    • Skill in preparing reports

    • Experience in preparing Financial Statements

    • Familiarity with handling Contracts

    • Ability to perform Ad Hoc Reporting

    • Understanding of Financial Risk

    • Experience in Budget monitoring

    • Proficiency in Cash Reconciliations
