    Qualifications:

    + Minimum Bachelor's Degree required, as well as eligibility for certification within one year as a Chaplain by the National Association of Catholic Chaplains.

    + Masters Degree and Certification, preferred.

    + Bilingual in English/Spanish, preferred.

    + Training and experience in hospital ministry and/or counseling.

    + Approved faculties to function as a priest from the Archdiocese of New York.

    + Maintains good standing in the Archdiocese of New York.

    + Exhibits an ability and attitude relative to the spirit of caring and tradition at Calvary Hospital as required by specific job duties and functions.

    Responsibilities:

    The Roman Catholic Priest Chaplain is responsible for providing pastoral care and sacramental ministry to Roman Catholic patients, in collaboration with the rest of the pastoral team; providing pastoral care to assigned units when on-call; and sharing in the related activities of the department as a whole.

    Job Type:

    Part-time; Day shift.

    Salary:

    $33.8334/hourly
