Your Key Responsibilities

+ Assist in the preparation, filing, and prosecution of patent applications.

+ Manage and track the timelines associated with patent filings and office actions.

+ Conduct patent searches and gather relevant information to support patent strategies and filings.

+ Maintain organized records and databases of patent documents and correspondence.

+ Coordinate with attorneys, inventors, and external agencies to ensure timely submission of necessary materials.

+ Review and manage patent annuities, maintenance fees, and renewals to ensure compliance.

+ Provide support in patent litigation and enforcement activities.

+ Assist in the drafting and editing of IP-related documents, including licensing agreements and assignments.

Your Qualifications

+ A certificate or degree in Paralegal Studies or equivalent experience in an IP legal setting.

+ Proven experience as a paralegal, preferably with a focus on intellectual property and patents.

+ Familiarity with patent application processes and procedures.

+ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

+ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

+ Proficiency in managing electronic databases and patent tracking software.

+ External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship
