Description of the role: The Service Manager at Berglund Luxury Roanoke specializes in imports and is responsible for overseeing the service department and ensuring the highest standards of customer satisfaction, efficiency, and profitability. This role requires exceptional leadership and management skills, as well as a strong background in dealership service management.  Responsibilities: * Manage the daily operations of the service department to ensure the operation runs smoothly and meets or exceeds targets. * Lead, motivate, and support a team of technicians and service advisors.  * Drive the department's financial performance by increasing customer pay, maximizing hours per repair order, and managing inventory efficiently. * Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing customer concerns, resolving issues, and maintaining strong relationships. * Collaborate with parts and sales departments to streamline operations and communication. * Implement and enforce company policies and procedures. * Train and develop service department staff. Requirements: * Prior experience as a Service Manager in an automotive dealership. * Technical proficiency and understanding of import vehicles. * Strong knowledge of automotive service processes and procedures. * Excellent leadership skills to motivate team and maintain a positive work environment. * Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. * Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and efficiency. * Proficiency with computer systems and service management software.
