    Job Description

    Explore an outstanding opportunity to join Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Manufacturing Technician II in the Richardson area. In this top-tier role, you'll be part of a team that rigorously follows established methods to effectively carry out pioneering assembly tasks in a production lab. Your drive will ensure impeccable manufacturing, testing, and quality of our powerful mechanical and electrical products.

    Responsibilities:

    + Complete intricate electrical and mechanical assemblies with precision.

    + Determine and solve intricate system problems to ensure product excellence.

    + Collaborate to maintain rigorous quality standards and adhere to production timelines.

    Required Qualifications:

    + High School Diploma or GED.

    + At least 5 years of experience in assembling and troubleshooting detailed electrical and mechanical components.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Associate degree in Electronics or Technology, or equivalent experience.

    + Proven track record in environments passionate about operational efficiency.

    Skills & Abilities:

    + Strong work ethic and outstanding communication skills.

    + Proficient in English, both written and spoken.

    + Capable of lifting 35 pounds unassisted and working in varied positions for extended periods.

    + Expertise in using optical microscopes, SEM, or FIB for component inspection.

    + Proficient in reading engineering drawings and assembly instructions.

    + Diligent, self-starter able to work independently.

    + Familiar with quality management systems and safety programs.

    + Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
