    Job Description

    The Office of the District Attorney, Bronx County (BXDA) is charged with the twin goals of ensuring public safety and striving for equal justice for the over 1.4 million members of the Bronx County community. By pursuing Justice with Integrity, the BXDA places a focus on assistance for crime victims while simultaneously ensuring fairness to defendants. Moreover, the BXDA aims to balance the need to seek appropriate punishment for certain crimes while recognizing when punitive measures do not adequately advance justice.     In furtherance of this mission, the BXDA seeks experienced and enthusiastic Graphic Artist / Designer.

     

    The Graphic Artist/ Designer will be responsible for redesigning website and keeping it updated, and designing digital and printed materials such as flyers, brochures, posters, and other interoffice and external communications. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, digitally savvy, and creative, and a person who takes pride in delivering a quality product on time and building an engaging digital experience. The ideal candidate will collaborate with various internal key stakeholders and external development vendors on enhancements to the office website framework as needed to support content, such as new templates, views, and other functionality.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

    - Publish digital content.

     

    - Propose and perform QA testing processes to ensure the accuracy of digital assets, confirming that copy, design, links, and other digital materials are rendered accurately.

     

    - May update content on all agency digital platforms and improve the users experience.

     

    - Integrate website translations and related localization software.

    Qualifications

    1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties described above; or

    2. High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties as described above; or

    3. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" or "2" above. However, all candidates must have at least one year of experience as described in "1" above.

    Salary Min: $ 60,889.00

     

    Salary Max: $ 94,521.00
