Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Develop, design, and maintain interactive and visually compelling Tableau dashboards and reports.
+ Work independently to analyze, interpret, and visualize complex healthcare insurance data.
+ Write and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for efficient data extraction and transformation.
+ Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into effective visual solutions.
+ Optimize dashboards for performance and ensure efficient data retrieval.
+ Develop and maintain documentation related to Tableau reports, data sources, and dashboards.
+ Utilize SQL to extract and manipulate data from various databases.
+ Support ad-hoc reporting needs and provide analytical insights to drive business decisions.
+ Provide training sessions for users to familiarize them with using Tableau
+ Surface any data integrity or quality issues to the relevant engineering team
+ Stay up to date with Tableau best practices and emerging data visualization trends.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Bachelors degree in computer science, Data Science, or a related field
+ 6+ years experience in data visualization and analysis
+ Proficiency in Tableau software (Desktop, Server, Cloud)
+ Strong experience in SQL and database management
+ Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes
+ Knowledge of data modeling techniques
+ Familiarity with programming languages like Python or R
+ Excellent communication and presentation abilities
+ Problem-solving and analytical thinking
+ Detail oriented
+ Data storytelling
+ Strong team collaboration
Preferred requirements:
+ Tableau certification
+ Experience working independently with large datasets, preferably in the healthcare insurance industry.
+ Experience with Salesforce Platforms (Sales/Service/Marketing Cloud)
