Summary:

The Courier is responsible for transporting emergent and routine laboratory specimens, medications, blood products, equipment, and other materials to and/or from various locations including but not limited to Affiliated Laboratory in Bangor, Mayo Regional Hospital in Dover, Hilltop Manor in Dover, Pleasant Meadows in Dover, Dexter Healthcare in Dexter and the Sangerville Clinic as needed at various times during the day or night.

Responsibilities:

+ When using your personnel vehicle you will be required to complete and submit, in a timely an accurate manner, the “Travel and Expense Form” located in the policy portal on the intranet. Mileage is calculated as the distance from the Hospital to the point of delivery or the distance from your home to the point of delivery. Department supervisors are responsible for certifying all mileage requests based on the standard mileage chart.

+ Employee is responsible for making sure that all contact information is current.
