Full-Time Licensed Master Social Worker - Mental Health - Queens

Reports To: Chief of Mental Health

Responsibilities :

+ Conduct psychosocial assessment, may include diagnostic interview

+ Develop treatment plan

+ Provide psychotherapeutic interventions, including counseling/psychotherapy and collaborating with primary treatment teams

+ Provide crisis intervention

+ Provide case management services

+ Provide agency referral and follow up

+ Maintain treatment records in accordance with Health Center’s guidelines

+ Participate in agency Quality Assurance activities and case conference

+ Attend departmental meetings

+ Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications :

+ Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited social work school

+ New York State Social Worker License required

+ Basic CPR (BCLS) Certification required (Health Center will provide if needed)

+ Effective verbal and written communication skills a must

+ Bilingual in English/Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) or English/Korean

Compensation and Benefits:

+ Salary: $65,000.00 - 68,000.00 per year
