Description
The University of Rochester Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is actively recruiting for an outpatient physiatrist with clinical expertise in general PM&R and performance of electrodiagnostics. This position offers the opportunity to work in our brand-new state-of-the-art outpatient facility where physiatrists from the Departments of PM&R and Orthopaedic Surgery work side-by-side in division-specific practice pods. No inpatient call. No holidays. No weekends.
In addition, there is ample opportunity to pursue academic and scholarly interests. This includes support of the education mission, consisting of teaching and mentoring fellows, residents, and medical students, as well as the support to pursue research interests. This position comes with a primary faculty appointment in the Department of PM&R and at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry.

Qualifications
+ MD or DO
+ BC/BE
+ Interest/aptitude in performing electrodiagnostic studies
+ Interest in teaching/mentoring fellows, residents, and medical students

The referenced pay range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the base range of compensation for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job's salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries. Alignment of clinical incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
