In addition, the University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities, the UCEDD, widens the scope of Divisional activities to include advocacy and community-based initiatives across the lifespan. ICARE* values are demonstrated in all responsibilities.

The Applicant would be encouraged to participate in scholarly activities as evidenced by the publication of the clinical investigation, clinical observations, reviews, chapters, or books; participation in clinical trials, manuscript review, and/or clinical investigations. Funds may be available to protect time for up to three years to allow the candidate to develop and implement proposed and agreed-upon research goals in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics. • Presents findings internally and at national meetings.

    Training

Division faculty are expected to contribute to the education of pre-service and multidisciplinary trainees. Duties may include:

    • Teaching and supervising the patient care of assigned medical students, residents, and fellows, with attention to the provision of safe and effective care and trainee educational goals.

    • Advise LEND trainees in programmatic and project activities.
