What You Will Do:
Support Pratt & Whitney’s Government Security Compliance department as an **Assistant Contractor Special Access Programs Security Officer (ACSSO)** responsible for assisting with the implementation and oversight of a special access national security program. The **ACSSO** will be assigned to the Special Access Programs Security Office.
The ACSSO will support the Government Security Compliance team by assisting with full scope implementation of Department of Defense Special Access Program Security Manuals, company Standard Operating Procedures and additional contractual security requirements.
+ Assist with implementing the requirements of the DoD Special Access Prorams Security Manuals across a portfolio of programs and facilities
+ Collaborate with security and program management for the development, implementation and achievement of program unique security goals and requirements
+ Provide PERSEC related initial, annual and program specific security training to the accessed employee community
+ Assist in the completion of annual and event-based security compliance inspections and audits
+ Assist in the planning and completion of annual refresher training for the P&W East Hartford campus
+ Provide daily in-person support to the accessed employee community
Qualifications You Must Have:
+ Bachelor's degree and 5 or more years of related industrial secruity experience or Master's degreeand minimum 3 years of related industrial security experience
+ U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
+ Possess an active government security clearance at a minimum SECRET level.
+ Be eligible to meet enhanced security requirements to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs.
Qualifications We Prefer:
+ Experience prioritizing competing tasks along with identifying and addressing deficiencies
+ Proficiency in the Microsoft suite of products

**Onsite:** Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
