    **Facility:** BayCare Health System, Lab Central Processing-SJHN

    **Location:** St Joseph's North

    **Status:** Part Time, Exempt: No

    **Shift Hours:** Monday - Friday: 4AM - 9AM

    **Weekend Work:** Every Other

     

    On **Call:** No

    Responsibilities - Lab Medical Asst II:

    + Responsible for collecting, receiving and processing of inpatient and outpatient specimens for testing.

    + Communications with nursing regarding patient specimens, referring specimens to outside laboratories, interaction with physicians, clients and staff regarding referral lab tests, performance of phlebotomy procedures.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Credentials:

    + Essential - Driver's License

    + Required - 6 months - Phlebotomy

    + Or, 6 months - Laboratory Related

    + Or, 6 months - Related Field

    Education:

    + Required - High School or Equivalent

    + Or, Bachelors in related field in lieu of experience
