Description
Emory University and the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine is seeking a part-time faculty member at the Assistant Professor level in the PA Program. This is an academic position requiring student advising and teaching responsibilities.
Responsibilities for this position include:
+ Facilitating small group learning sessions
+ Providing professional and academic advisement for students
+ Assessing student work, including written documentation, live or recorded OSCEs, and summative evaluations
+ Assisting in skills training and simulation lab sessions
+ Engaging in quarterlySocietymeetings and the Emory PA Program retreat
+ Completing additional tasks as assigned by the course director and program director
Qualifications Required:
+ A Master’s degree or higher
+ Current NCCPA certification
+ Current GA license or eligible for GA license
+ Minimum of 3 years clinical experience
+ Faculty experience preferably in PA education or precepting
+ Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
