Our client, a leader in the engineering sector, is seeking an Engineering Technologist to join their team. As an Engineering Technologist, you will be part of the engineering department supporting various projects related to Electrical Distribution System Improvements. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

**Location:** Fort Wayne, IN

What's the Job?

+ Perform engineering studies and detailed scoping for projects related to Electrical Distribution System Improvements.

+ Assist higher-level employees in handling well-defined portions of routine problems.

+ Maintain required records and prepare special reports for tests, equipment performance, and projects.

+ Participate in planning meetings covering scheduling, operations, and maintenance of equipment.

+ Communicate effectively with team members and assist in the preparation of technical reports and papers.

What's Needed?

+ A Bachelor's degree in engineering technology from an ABET accredited program or an equivalent qualification.

+ Ability to demonstrate technical proficiency and familiarity with standards, codes, and regulations.

+ Strong organizational skills to prioritize routine work and meet company demands.

+ Willingness to seek opportunities for professional growth and technical knowledge enhancement.

+ Effective interpersonal skills to build consensus and resolve conflicts within the team.
