Job Title: Document Control Associate
Hours / Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM with some flexibility
Type: 6 months contract to hire
Entry level documentation role seeking candidates with Lab Tech and / or Quality documentation experience. Considering candidates with basic knowledge and familiarity writing reports and documenting out of specification (OOS) or out of trend (OOT) lab results.
Responsibilities
+ Assist in drafting, revising, and obsoleting documents including but not limited to SOPs, operator manuals, marketing documents, purchasing specifications, technical documents, and labels.
+ Support the process of improvement using quality assurance philosophies and best practices.
+ Maintain quality documentation from across the organization within a Quality Management System.
+ Perform QA review of documents and adjust to fit the client's formatting and quality standards.
+ Complete operational tasks in support of organizational projects.
+ Perform validations for new system integration or upgrades.
+ Assist in leading or participating in projects related to improving Document Control processes.
+ Ensure information is correct and current within the QMS.
+ Control the distribution of controlled documents ensuring the use of only correct versions.
Requirements
+ Associates Degree in science or technology related field
+ 0 – 3 years of QA or Documentation experience
+ Excellent attention to detail and quality mindset
+ Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
+ Ability to work with accuracy, follow instructions, schedules, and timelines
+ Ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent tasks
+ Ability to give and receive feedback
+ Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
+ Strong interpersonal skills
+ Diligent, dependable, and self-motivated
Preferred
+ GMP, GLP, GDP, or ISO experience
+ Experience utilizing a QMS (e.g. EtQ or MasterControl)
+ Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign experience
+ Solid works Pro experience
+ CAPA experience and Auditing experience
+ Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its application in Quality Assurance programs
