A Day in Your Life at MKS:

As a Service Support Technician II at MKS Instruments, you will partner with service team to evaluate and repair RF Generators. In this role, you will report to the Service Supervisor. This position is available on a 1st or 3rd shift.

You Will Make an Impact By:

+ Diagnose mechanical, hardware, software, and systems failures.

+ Determines cost-effective resolution to minimize customer downtime.

+ Troubleshoot RF generator boards to component level.

+ Use electronics equipment to test the RF generator to the manufacturing specifications.

Skills that You Bring:

+ Associate's degree in electronics from a two-year college, military, or equivalent working experience.

+ 2+ years of experience in a related field.

+ Ability to read and understand technical documents and procedures.

+ Ability to troubleshoot electronic equipment to component level.

+ Advanced skills in Microsoft Office.

+ Excellent attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

+ Oracle data entry.

+ Test stand use and understanding.

+ Excellent communication, organizational skills.

+ Understanding of 6S and Lean methodology.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

+ Ability to lift, pull, and push 50 lbs.

+ Ability to work overtime when required.

Compensation and Benefits:

Hourly Pay Range: $20.00 - $27.00. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.

Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS [or as applicable].
