Landscape Foreman Summary:

This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently, and maintaining high-quality service standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential landscaping, tree care, hardscape installation, and crew management.

Duties/Responsibilities:

+ Supervise and lead a team of landscaping professionals.

+ Perform landscaping tasks such as planting, mulching, clean-ups, hardscape installation, and grading.

+ Manage daily work schedules, oversee job site inspections, and provide expert recommendations for tree care and landscaping tasks.

+ Ensure all safety protocols and industry standards are followed on job sites.

+ Track project progress, resolve issues, ensure timely completion, and maintain detailed records of work, materials, and crew hours.

+ Train crew members on proper techniques, equipment handling, and safety procedures.

+ Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications:

+ Proven ability to supervise and lead a team of landscaping professionals

+ Minimum 2-3 years in tree service, landscaping, or a similar role.

+ Knowledge of planting, trimming, grading, sod installation, and landscape maintenance.

+ Understanding of OSHA regulations, PPE requirements, and best practices in tree care.

+ Valid Driver’s License (CDL Preferred).

+ Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Ability to wear necessary PPE

+ Capability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

+ Proficiency in operating and servicing all required tools and equipment

+ Valid driver’s license

+ Due to the nature of the work, maintaining attention and concentration for extended periods is essential

Physical Requirements:

+ Ability to lift, move, and maneuver weights of 10+ pounds frequently and up to 50+ pounds occasionally

+ Gripping, climbing, balancing, pulling, and pushing
