    Responsibilities

    Facilities Maintenance Manager:

    1. M.C. Dean seeks a hands-on experienced maintenance manager for our Modular Mission Critical manufacturing campus located at 12445 Innovation Drive, Ruther Glen, VA.

    2. Manage the maintenance of facilities and manufacturing tools utilizing superior mechanical knowledge. Manage on-site maintenance staff and qualified contractors.

    3. Develop a multi-level Total Product Maintenance (TPM) to optimize equipment effectiveness.

    4. Plan, document, and track preventive and remedial maintenance using our management system – InfraLink.

    5. Develop and maintain a budget.

    6. Report to our VP of Manufacturing and dotted line to our Facilities Service Center Manager.

    Capabilities and Competencies:

    1. Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, ensuring optimal performance, and minimizing downtime.

    2. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to resolve equipment malfunctions promptly.

    3. Inspect, clean, and lubricate machinery components to prevent equipment failures and ensure smooth operations.

    4. Perform diagnostic tests to identify issues, interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams to determine appropriate repair methods.

    5. Utilize hand and power tools, precision measuring instruments, and testing equipment to perform maintenance tasks accurately and safely.

    6. Collaborate with production teams to schedule and coordinate maintenance activities, minimizing disruption to manufacturing processes.

    7. Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and inspections using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

    8. Assist in the installation, modification, and relocation of machinery and equipment as needed.

    9. Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs, including plumbing, HVAC, lighting, and other general maintenance tasks.

    10. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while performing maintenance activities.

    11. Identify opportunities for process improvement and make recommendations to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.

    12. Keep abreast of advancements in equipment technology, industry standards, and best practices in maintenance techniques.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    1. Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

    2. Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.

    3. Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment.

    4. Knowledge of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and experience with electrical wiring and control systems.

    5. Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for tracking and documenting maintenance activities.

    6. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.

    7. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve equipment issues promptly.

    8. Good physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform repairs and maintenance tasks.

    9. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.

    10. Effective communication skills and the ability to work well independently or as part of a team.

    Experience:

    8+ years of experience with a Bachelor of Science In Engineering or Technical degree or 6 + years of experience with a Master's degree or equivalent relevant experience.

    Abilities:

    1. Exposure to computer screens for an extended period of time.

    2. Sitting for extended periods of time.

    3. Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction.

    4. Have finger dexterity in order to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms, for example, using a keyboard.

    5. Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.

    6. Communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.

    7. Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.

    8. Apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.

    9. Identify and understand the speech of another person.
