    Human Resources Recruiter

     

    Transdev in Las Vegas, NV is hiring a Human Resources Recruiter. The Human Resources Recruiter supports the HR team with full cycle recruiting and other HR-related responsibilities. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety and Customer service.

    Transdev is proud to offer:

    * Competitive compensation package of $26.00 – $29.00 an hour

    Benefits include:

    * Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks

    * Sick days: 5 days

    * Holidays: 12 days; 8 standard and 4 floating

    Responsibilities:

    + Develops pools of candidates for open positions from a variety of sources.

    + Manage applicant flow, disposition candidates and documenting applicants appropriately in ATS (JOBVITE).

    + Very high volume, full life cycle recruiting for drivers primarily, other positions as needed.

    + Ensures recruiting goals are achieved for each assignment.

    + Performs telephone screens and in-depth face-to-face interviews of candidates.

    + Refers candidates to hiring managers for interviews and follows up with hiring manager on applicant status.

    + Prepares offer paperwork for hiring managers.

    + Researches, identifies, and establishes business relationships with recruiting sources in local communities

    + Prepares recruiting reports and identifies recruiting trends, sources, etc.

    + Represents the organization at trade shows and job fairs.

    + Maintains database of recruiting data.

    Requirements:

    + 2-4 years of job-related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

    + Excellent project management and problem-solving skills

    + Ability to meet challenges with resourcefulness, generate suggestions for improving work, and develop innovative approaches and ideas.

    + Excellent verbal and written communication, record-keeping, and follow-up skills.

    + Willing to work under tight deadlines and maintain exceptional judgment and discretion regarding sensitive matters.

    + Work with the highest standards of integrity.

    Physical Requirements:

    The essential functions of this position require the ability to:

    * Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions-100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations.

    * Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces

    * Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level

    * Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
