Summary:
RL is currently seeking an Art Leader to help build and scale Avatar Products and Experiences across all the platforms. As an Art Lead, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a team of art directors, artists, designers, and engineers to design innovative features and systems. Your responsibilities will include generating concepts and high-fidelity mockups to bring creative visions to life, developing design systems and style guides to ensure consistency and quality, and collaborating closely with cross-functional partners to ship new products to users.
Required Skills:
Art Lead Responsibilities:
1. Design features and systems in collaboration with art directors, artists, designers, and engineers
2. Create high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, design systems, and style guides
3. Help build rapid prototypes to test and validate design concepts
4. Execute the creative vision for various Avatar products
5. Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to ship new products to users
6. Conceptualize ideas and design layouts via storyboards, sketches, and animatics using two-dimensional/three-dimensional applications
7. Craft clear, appealing, and emotive concepts representing a global audience
8. Provide artistic direction and vision for high-quality promotional content
9. Forge partnerships with external vendors to scale up production
Minimum Qualifications:

10. 5+ years industry experience in games or other three-dimensional media
11. Proficient in industry-standard art tools such as Photoshop, Maya, Blender, Modo, Figma, or similar
12. Experience and hands-on working knowledge of character-based art processes and two-dimensional/three-dimensional production pipelines
13. Experience leading and pitching projects and collaborating with leadership teams
14. Motion Graphic experience creating visual effects to static or animated characters
15. Demonstrated experience in time management skills, creating quality content on schedule in a deadline-focused environment.

16. Proven experience in rendering characters via DCC
17. Industry leader in their area of specialization
18. Previous experience designing and producing content for social mobile games
19. VR and Mobile development experience
Public Compensation:
$126,000/year to $175,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
