    Summary:

    We are actively seeking exemplary candidates to join our competitive Sales Trainee Program. We provide the tools and training for learning the ins and outs of one of the nation’s fastest growing industries. In this a position, you will be exposed to various roles in each facet of the company, gaining experience in Warehouse Operations, Customer Service, Account Management, Outside Sales, Purchasing, Operations and more! The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, exemplifies stellar time management and communication skills, and is excited to be empowered and involved in business goals and initiatives. This role is intended to provide the tools and training for being a successful Account Manager within the company.

     

    Reports to: Profit Center Manager

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Must be at least 18 years of age

    + Current, valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

    + Authorization to work in the United States (without requiring work authorization sponsorship by CED now or in the future)

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's Degree

    + Strong negotiation skills

    + Strong attention to detail and time management

    + Ability to solve complex problems

    Working Conditions:

    Conditions vary based on the trainee’s current segment of the training and will include warehouse, office and external environments. During some segments, activities will include lifting, sorting, standing, possible extreme heat/cold conditions. Office segments may include sitting for extended periods. Various segments will include some travel – both by car and by air.

     

    Supervisory Responsibilities: No

    Essential Job Functions:

    + Learning all aspects of the CED business

     

    - Working in the Warehouse & Understanding how our Delivery Routes play a role in servicing our customers

     

    - Counter Sales, interacting with a customer and helping them get what they need

     

    - Purchasing Agent, procuring material to help fill customer orders

    - Outside Sales, working with customers out in the field to help complete a construction project

    + On the job training will be provided, but after hours training will be necessary as well

    + Establish, develop, and maintain relationships and rapport with customer

    Compensation Range:

    The compensation range for this position is $20 to $25 hourly.
