    Nature & Purpose of Position/Usual Duties:

    The Department of Art at Sam Houston State University invites applications for full or part time lecturer/ pool faculty. We are seeking applicants with the ability to teach one or more courses in Drawing, Sculpture, Painting, Studio Art, Animation, Photography, Foundations in Digital Art, Workshop in Art Studio and History (Studio Foundations Program), or Intro to Art.

    Other Specifications/Instructions for the Position:

    Submit: a cover letter, CV, a list of names and contact information for three references, examples of personal/professional work, artist statement, examples of students’ work in pdf format (Please include links for examples of personal and student interactive or motion work.), and statement of teaching philosophy.

     

    (Letters of recommendation and official transcripts will be required of finalists.)
