We are seeking a talented International Logistics Coordinator to join our Nucor Logistics Group team based in Charlotte, NC. The International Logistics Coordinator responsibilities included but are not limited to:

+ Coordinating containerized scrap steel freight rate negotiations and service related issues with container carriers and internal teammates.

+ Assisting with execution of bulk raw materials import shipments, freight negotiations, risk management activities.

+ Planning and monitoring export finished goods break bulk shipments, preparing export documentation, filing export Customs declarations, handling customer service issues as needed.

+ Analyzing import and export data to provide market insight to commercial teammates.

+ Assisting with export and import compliance functions.

+ Collaborating with 3rd party ship brokers, customs brokers and 3PLs

Minimum Requirements:

+ Bachelors degree in International Business & Logistics or related field

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with strong skills in Word/Excel/PowerBI

+ Strong critical thinking skills

+ Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills

+ Commitment to career growth and continuous professional development

+ Ability to travel domestically and internationally

Preferences:

+ Minimum 3 to 5 years experience international logistics / ocean logistics or equivalent degree

+ Demonstrated experienced in supply chain analysis and optimization.

+ Experience in container, bulk and break bulk freight operations/charter parties/risk management
