Kimberly Casey is offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Redmond, Oregon. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be instrumental in overseeing our financial operations, ensuring adherence to accounting standards, and contributing to our strategic financial planning. Your role also involves the preparation of precise financial reports, general ledger maintenance, and acting as a contact point for audits and complex accounting queries.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.

• Act as a liaison during both internal and external audits, maintaining regulatory compliance and implementing changes based on evolving accounting and tax regulations.

• Prepare financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, in compliance with GAAP standards.

• Conduct variance and trend analyses to provide key financial insights.

• Mentor entry level staff, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.

• Contribute to strategic financial planning by employing your expertise in the field.

• Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies, such as AI platforms, that can enhance financial analysis.

• Ensure timely account reconciliations and monitor internal controls for compliance.

• Facilitate system optimization by improving and maintaining accounting systems, including enhancements to ERP software.

• Handle higher-level accounting queries, providing clear and concise responses.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Skilled in Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations

• Knowledge of General Ledger

• Ability to process Journal Entries

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Month End Close

• Knowledge of US GAAP

• Capable of Financial Statement Preparation

• ERP system and system implementation experience a plus
