Business Manager ~Professional Services Firm D.C. area

$100k-$115k, plus benefits, flexible work schedule/great work-life balance

My client is a growing professional services firm in need of a Business Manager to lead the human resources and accounting for the organization. The Business Manager will manage office operations, including administrative staff, and oversee AP, AR, and human resource duties candidates with experience working in law firms are highly encouraged to apply. The Business Manager will be responsible for the following duties:

•Responsible for all HR matters, including benefits, employee relations, recruiting, and onboarding new hires

•Process accounts payable, receivable, and payroll in QuickBooks

•Perform bank reconciliations, accounting, client billing, collections

• Develop and update of organization’s policies and procedures and oversee the implementation of policies and procedures, including the Employee

Handbook

•Develop, maintain, and prepare periodic reports

that compare budgeted costs to actual costs

•Perform accurate and timely Bank Reconciliations

•Maintaining vendor files, and facilities for the

organization

Requirements

Requirements:

BS/BA degree preferred

5+ year experience in Accounting/Full Charge Bookkeeping

5 + year experience in full-cycle Human Resource duties

Experience in QuickBooks is plus

Proficient in MS Excel
