• Tax Provision & Tax Director

    Description

    We are in search of a Tax Provision & Tax Director to join our team. In this role, you will primarily handle the management and review of consolidated tax provisions, oversee global interim and year-end tax provision preparations, and lead the Direct Tax function.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the management and review of consolidated quarterly and annual tax provisions under ASC 740

    • Coordinate and maintain SOX control documentation and processes

    • Ensure proper accounting and compliance reporting of M& A transactions

    • Identify, support, and implement process improvements within the tax function

    • Oversee and prepare the global interim and year-end tax provision

    • Conduct regular tax research to stay updated on tax laws and regulations

    • Manage and coordinate data gathering and schedule preparation for tax and financial statement auditors

    • Review and prepare tax account reconciliations as needed

    • Use various software such as Adobe Acrobat, ATX Tax Software, CCH ProSystem Fx, and CCH Sales Tax for tax functions

    • Lead and manage the overall Direct Tax function within the organization.

    Requirements

    • 8+ years of relevant tax accounting experience in public accounting or large multinational companies

    • Experience with CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax

    • Knowledge of Compliance software

    • Ability to perform Accounting Functions

    • Experience with Annual Income Tax Provision

    • Knowledge and experience in Auditing

    • Understanding and ability to maintain Compliance

    • Experience within the IT Software industry

    • Ability to direct and oversee tax provisions

    • Excellent communication and leadership skills

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

    • CPA or relevant certification is highly desirable

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the IT Software industry

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

    • Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations

    • Strong preference for Big 4 background
